DOOR 1, LUCY 0

How do you keep a girl like this... from looking like this?

AHA! The 'ol dress-in-a-door trick!

Photo on the left is Lucy after I asked her to go wash her hands. On the right, after she face-planted in front of Starbucks and then jumped off a step two days later in front of Bristol Farms, landing on her forehead. Her physical therapist has been working her hard, not only strengthening her lower body but also focusing on balance, slowing down, and resisting every impulse she has. You see how that's working out. Seems the door is the only way to slow our little risk-taking hurricane down.

The worst part about when they fall is when you go out in public everyone looks at you like you beat your kid!

Have you started buying Band-Aids and triple antibiotic by the pound at Sam's Club? Sheesh!

She is a cutie! Look at that smile... she does kinda have that cat that ate the canary twinkle in her eye though.

Just wanted to stop by and welcome you to SITS. Thanks for joining.

Hey thanks for visiting my blog! I wish you said Lucy was getting easier - I can't wait for Sarah to get a little older!! Not to wish it away but she is SOOO busy right now. Looks like Lusy is too - but she is super cute!!!

Oh my. Need I say more?! That girl has some serious climbing skills. Gracyn had no wounds to show for it, but she face planted in the Disney store, slab floor, in front of a ton of parents. Of course, she let out the "LOOK AT ME CRY - my parents aren't watching me, are they?!" D was right there, but she too, still has room to grow in the area of grace!

Oh, she is too funny! And too darn cute! Good luck with the "slowing down" bit! :-)

I'm amazed at how much older Lucy looks than when we saw her in March! Geez she's beautiful. Still got that rascally little sparkle in her eye but that's just makes her more beautiful.
