Winter Wonderland

A 50-something degree early January day looks something like this in our Southern California front yard.

But about an hour away, it looks more like this.
The kids' first ever SoCal snow day was a huge success. While it wasn't exactly the white fluffy stuff -- we'll have to head back on a colder snowier day -- we did get in some sledding, snow angels and a few snowballs.
Hope you're enjoying the new year as much as we are!

I love Lucy's leg warmers!!! So fashionable, even in the snow! I noticed Lucy doesn't have a coat. Either does Peyton. When I took the girls to the snow I just wrapped her in a blanket. So So Cal. :)
