What a week! So far, we've gotten final decree on the guardianship case, the signature we've all been holding our collective breaths for, and now... WE'RE LOGGED IN! I absolutely know it was due to all the positive energy we've received from people around the world! Yesterday, I got an order of chicken and vegggies from the local Chinese restaurant (don't worry—it was steamed. I have to be in a wedding soon!) and it came with a fortune. I waited all day to open the cookie because I had a feeling there was something applicable to our adoption. So I wasn't surprised (but thrilled) when I opened this!
In other fun news, Lucy received a fantastic gift from Jaden's mom! I agreed to participate in an online gift exchange called "pay it forward." Now, the first three to comment here will receive a pay-it-forward gift from me! I just love the adorable outfit and sweater, socks, little bunny and journal/pen and lip balm for me... but my hands-down favorite is the cute headband! I am so excited to do girlie things with my little lady. Lucy also received a package from Gracyn's mom with a beautiful blanket and handmade barrettes along with some cool spoons! Thanks, ladies! And, not to be outdone in the good news department, Gracyn got a first ruling and will be home in a month—just in time for her birthday! Congrats Tiffanie!
(I'm having trouble getting addresses for pay it forward so if you commented and you're interested, email me the info: jmomac@mac.com)
Last, but definitely not least, today is the last day to vote for Jeff in the songwriting contest. He's neck and neck with another and this is our chance to send him solo to the finish line! If you haven't voted, please go now!

p.s. we all laughed very hard at the dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb-that pudding!! It's stuck in my head :)
Congrats! What a long haul. It will all be worth the wait. I hope you get the day-turn-around judge. It can happen!
THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!
So thrilled! There has been a round of good news, lately! Hooray! My oldest son Grant (8), has been following along, too and asks if Lucy got to go home yet. He issues an empathetic "awwwww" when I say "not yet" but he will LOVE to read that she's getting close to that magical day!
Voted for the son, too. That's one fun and silly song- what a talented couple you two are!
What a sweet little outfit (and a great fortune). That's a cute idea to 'pay it forward'. I hope things keep moving along and the judges will take one look at your case and scream for you to come get this baby girl NOW!
We can hope right? Believe...
I may have to play those numbers for the Mass lottery tonight! Very excited for all of you.
Arrrghh.. now you've got that song by Journey stuck in my head now :)
Once again, we're thrilled as can be for this wonderful change in events.
Yay! Yay! I am thrilled for you all :)
