Well, today's not really her first birthday, she's 21 months. But we weren't there for the big occasion nine months ago and really, isn't it always a good time to celebrate?
4 year old Jacob decided to treat his sister and the rest of us to dinner, with his first ever pizza pie. (Sadly, it was his mother who left it in the oven a few minutes too long.)
Remember back on February 1 when we celebrated without her? We made the first ever Mac family pink cupcakes. We froze them that day and vowed to take them out when she was here to mark the milestone with us. Not sure how the 9-month-old frozen cupcakes really tasted, but she did tear it apart like a one year old would. Happy Birthday little girl, nine months later.

Oh my goodness! I have tears in my eyes! That is so sweet you made them ON her birthday and frooze them and got to have them now!! :) It is neat to me too because we are having a belated 1st birthday party for Noah Monday at 3:30! We chose the 3rd because that is 1 year exactly since we were contacted by Val and asked if we would consider him and then heard about him for the first time! :) Can you believe it girl? We have been home with our babies 7 weeks and counting!
