In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month...

I was reading bedtime stories to the kids when J became suddenly intrigued with my (reconstructed) chest. (see here for story)

I said "honey, what are you doing?"
and he said (while pushing on them) "wow, you must've eaten a lot for dinner."

Go ahead, have a good laugh.

Jackie,
Thanks for making us laugh and for sharing your story!
Lora

ps, Those adds that keep popping up on the screen when I'm trying to look at your blog are annoying.
Can you get those off of there?
Please...
Thanks! LOL

Thanks for sharing Jackie! You are brave and FUNNY too. What is it with our boys sudden interest in anatomy?! I thought my son was the only one pushing on these things. . .LOL (ummm. . .and I didn't eat very much - get my drift?!) Hugs, Tiff

p.s. thanks so much for sharing a snippet of your story too. As a cancer RN, it is always AWESOME to see the power of resistance to this disease coming from where it should-- prevention and awareness, not just when one is being hooked up to the chemo. Keep it up!
