No News...Again

Whoever said "no news is good news" has obviously never adopted. The 25th came and went and we heard nothing of moving forward with our case. Another week is wrapping up in Taiwan and the tiny hope we had of getting a break is almost officially dashed.

We did get photos today. Our little girl truly takes our breath away. She seems genuinely happy—I'm sure they love her to bits. It scares me that it will be such a traumatic transition, the longer we wait. Enjoy her adorable little smile. And it looks like she may have been up to no good in the last pic.

She is just so darling! I can't wait for the day soon when you report that you're going to pick your baby girl up. You're in my prayers.

She's as adorable as ever, and you're right - she's up to no good in that last shot! Watch out Jackie!!! Lock up those cabinets.

I know it's so hard right now, but she is yours, and she will come home. Hold onto those smiles of hers with your heart!

XOXO,
Tiff

Horrible, horrible court system. It's a shame being frustrated and mad doesn't accomplish anything... 'cause you've got a lot of people willing to be mad at the situation for you.

The pictures of her are STUNNING! She has an amazing smile and gorgeous eyes and that sweet little frame. I'm so glad that you know what it feels like to hold her and touch her soft skin. I'm sure it makes the waiting harder... but it is so good for you both in the long run.

Oh Lucy, You just keep getting cuter & cuter and I didn't think that was possible!
Jackie, She can sure put a smile on your face!
You will hear something SOON!

ADORABLE! No wonder you're going out of your mind waiting for the courts and other parties to do the jobs they should've done a long time ago.

Looks like you'd better double up on the babyproofing.

Tisra, I am SOO with you on that being mad thing. This is ridiculous and I am so sorry, Jackie.

Everytime I see her little face, I just want to squish it!! She is breath-taking...true enough.

Jackie,
She is so beautiful! She looks very happy and seems more relaxed since you visited. It's like she knows she will be home with you. They just love that Snow dry formula.

What a gorgeous baby girl! I'll bet she's even more gorgeous in real life.

Sigh... hoping to hear better news about court, but what sweet pictures to carry you through the disappointment!!! She is beautiful as ever, Jackie. I worry about the transition too... Owen had just had his 2nd birthday when we "met" him and he won't be coming home till he is closer to 3! I just pray God uses this time to prepare his heart for us just like we are preparing for him.

I'm so glad you had a chance to visit Lucy and to make a connection & initial bond with her. I think it will make the adjustment so much easier when you travel, which I pray is SOON!
