Judge Lucy

If anyone can make things happen, it's this sweet little girl. Alas, today was not the day. The court clerk wasn't in but Jessica will call again Monday.

I can't even begin to describe this day—probably due to absolute exhaustion—but if I said it was the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows, it would be an understatement. Lucy completely did a 180 degree turn and was so wonderful to play with and cuddle. I was absolutely floored. And when I walked away, sobbing uncontrollably mind you, she watched me with such sadness. It is a moment I will never forget for as long as I live. I'll post pics soon but I seriously need some sleep.

Tomorrow, it's a day in Taipei and then back on the plane to my precious baby boys and oh-so-patient husband. I miss you guys more than anything and will see you soon. XOXO

Jackie,
She KNOWS you are her forever mommy! I can only imagine how hard it was to leave her today, but I know you have laid the foundation for a wonderful, loving relationship. I can't wait until you can bring her home.
Blessings,
Teresa

Whoo! Talk about emotional whiplash. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to visit Lucy. Here's hoping Jessica will have some good news for you. That would be an awesome Mother's Day present!
