A Crappy Day of Another Kind

So today, we went to tour a potential new preschool. We couldn't have been more happy with the grounds, classrooms and staff.

As we were wrapping up our conversation outside, I noticed B had shoved his hand down the back of his diaper. On Mom instinct, I pulled it out to keep us looking like that trashy family whose kids walk around with their hands in their pants. When I yanked out his hand, he yanked out a surprise of his own. Without missing a beat, Jeff saw what was going down and walked our boy, his handful of poop and the shirt he immediately wiped it on out to the car while I finished sucking up to the preschool director.

Do you think we got in?

UPDATE:
Wednesday 12:30 p.m.
We got in!!!

All of us who have kids can laugh, because we've all been there (and it is such a relief to know it happens to other people too). Of course, they always do those kind of things at the most inopportune moments!

I think you're a shoe-in!

Oh Jackie, this is so funny... we have all been there!!!!

The song for Lucy had me all boo-hooing on my computer keyboard... that was just incredible. I think about our little boy too and wonder if somehow he knows in his spirit that his family is waiting for him. Do you think love can be felt across miles?? I do. :) I know Miss Lucy must go to sleep every night feeling it from her mama, daddy and 2 big brothers.

Love, Rebecca

Well that proves it's a crap shoot - hahaha! Are you sending Lucy a care package? I'm working on Sarah's today!

LOL! That's just one of those memories you can totally embarrass B about when he gets older. Hahaha! Glad you have a new pre-schooler in the home:)
