Win a Spa Treatment at Burke Williams!

I don't usually do giveaways. I'm really not a fan. For one, it gets old when you're constantly approached by companies pushing their "life-changing" product. Given how crazy my schedule is (like every other mom on the planet), it's challenging enough to find time to connect with readers in an authentic way, so why would I use my precious little time pimping the latest and greatest useless invention. And let's be honest, unless you're sending me a robot to clean my house, feed my family and sit for my children while I enjoy the occasional date night with my husband... there aren't many products I consider that incredible. Besides, I'm way past the days of designer feeding bowls, bibs that do everything except keep a kid clean and toys that will turn your mediocre munchkin into a Harvard grad student by the time he turns six.


The other reason I don't do giveaways? I'm a procrastinator. I am known to drive around for months with a gift in my car, only needing to take ten minutes to actually go to the post office. I file an extension every year because I haven't prepared for the tax man in time, have missed more rebate deadlines than I care to admit and have paid late fees, even though I actually had the money in the bank. I'm kind of a mess like that. 


But for the first time in a long time, I was excited to hear about a giveaway opportunity. My friends at Red Tricycle, a great resource for families in Seattle, Portland and California (San Diego, LA and The Bay Area), are running a promotion for my southern California friends, giving away a spa treatment to Burke Williams!
