A fellow adoptive Mom recently visited SLC to pick up her child. While taking photos of her sweet baby, you could see Lucy's crib in the background. I looked at the photo again last night and was suprised that I hadn't noticed... the pink satin blanket we had sent to Lucy back in October was in there! You may think to yourself, of course it was... but for those adopting, it's anybody's guess whether our kids even see the stuff we send.
But she had the blanket! Although it's not news of her coming home, it's a tiny comfort knowing that something we picked out for her with love lies in the crib with her—that she's touching something that we touched.
Baby steps to big news...

I am just feeling very good vibes for this week. Big news soon...I feel it. Tomorrow is the 5 year anniversary of me finding out I was pregnant with Seena so historically it's a lucky day. Are you listening, judge?
Wow - you have a great eye for detail. I hope you hear good news soon!
