It's Never Too Early to Accessorize

OK, this girl thing just keeps getting cuter and cuter. It's already a pleasant surprise when there's an unexpected delivery on an average day—but when the contents of the box are this darn adorable—it just can't help but put a smile on our faces.
Check out the umbrella, care of Aunti "Juju" & Uncle "My Jim" (aka Julie and Jim), who will be tying the knot this Year of the Rat.
We'll be doing a rain dance when Lucy comes home, just so we can put it to use.
AND, Lucy and I both received birthday presents yesterday. (I'm not officially getting older for several weeks but who doesn't love to start celebrating early?) This mother/daughter bracelet set has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. The photo really doesn't do it justice. Look how tiny Lucy's is! It was the perfect reminder that, although not on our time table, she will be here and the wait will be over. Thanks to Karen, Tony, and their four little monkeys (A, A, R & J). She, along with my sisters, will be getting lots of calls when I try to figure out how to juggle three little ones.
