Reading is Evil

We took the kids to dinner yesterday. And in an effort to get J to try something different, I said, "They have quesadillas, grilled cheese, or spaghetti." He looked at me like I had three heads, points directly at the menu and said, "They have chicken nuggets too. It says it right there!"

This 4-year-old really needs to stop with the books.

  1. HA! That's funny, good for him! And good for you for raising an unhealthy reader :)

  3. LOL!!! Love it. . .luckily Peyton can't read yet. Although while we were at Costo he wanted to buy this DVD that was about learning how to read, and I told him he needed to learn letters and words first. He said, "I can read" so I asked him, "what does that say" and he responded, "movie" - he was mistaken, but awfully confident! We won't be heading to the picnic because our family is throwing us a shower that day. It's the 23rd, right? If it's the 24th, I'd consider it, but only if you're going. Hugs, Tiff
